SBM, a subsidiary of Consolidated Services, started with Duke Realty, formerly Weeks Construction, in 1998. SBM started with three multi-story facilities on North Brown Road in Duluth, Ga. For over ten years SBM provided a broad range of janitorial and facility management services to Duke Realty Corporation. SBM’s services for the North Brown location included a total of over 515,000 square feet per night.
Our services included: nightly janitorial , day porters/day maids, sweeping, vacuuming and damp mopping all hard floors surfaces, cleaning and sanitizing all restrooms and company gyms, replenishing all paper products and liquid hand soap, inventory control, spot cleaning all mirrors, cleaning the interior and exterior of all entrance doors, interior glass partitions, exit stairs and risers, dusting all horizontal and vertical surfaces, spray and shine all stainless steel containers and drinking fountains, wipe down doors and door hinges, clean and sanitize all kitchens, break rooms, cafeterias, and coffee stations, specialty cleaning for holiday events, clean blinds, window ledges, Coe-base and crown molding, spot clean carpeting, buff all VCT tile and composition hard floors, machine buff and polish all marble, sandstone and limestone lobby and entrances, remove all trash and replace all trash can liners, wipe down all trash receptacles, all restroom, toilets, urinals, showers, bright work, counter tops and replace all extinguished light bulbs as needed. Two times per year SBM will completely strip and wax all VCT tile floors and two times per year included maintenance on all said tile. Our experienced floor technicians also machine scrubbed the grout and seal to maintain cleanliness and a fresh smell.
Within six months SBM was contracted to begin cleaning the newly built corporate headquarters located in Duluth, off Steve Reynolds Blvd. (The southeastern executive Class-A offices) All the above services were performed at the company headquarters with a white glove emphasis on maintaining a 99% approval rate. SBM also provided experienced day porters at all locations as well as a bi-lingual project manager during the day hours as well as a project manager for the evening crew to further maintain client satisfaction. Approximately four months later SBM was contracted to clean both of the Crestwood locations as well as six additional facilities on Steve Reynolds.
SBM maintained the highest rated building maintenance company for over eleven years with a 97% approval rate, as rated by the executive vice president of Duke Realty corporation, and additionally by property managers: Pam Sanders, Tom Rust and Miller Getz. The total square footage cleaned by SBM was just under 20 million square feet every month.
SBM also contracted with Mark Burkhaulter and Venture Properties for over thirteen years. SBM provided all janitorial services as well as emergency water removal, carpet cleaning and grout cleaning. SBM cleaned a total over 540,000 square feet per month.
SBM contracted with the Main Street Bank of Alpharetta, Georgia, The First National Bank of Johns Creek & Cumming locations, Integrity Bank in Alpharetta and all locations, Georgia, The Peachtree Bank of Alpharetta, all locations and the First National Bank of Gwinnett.
SBM has had the pleasure of providing complete janitorial and facility management services for Valais Investments all their locations in Roswell and Alpharetta Georgia. For seven years SBM provided construction clean-up projects for Beers Construction. SBM completed projects in the Atlanta and metro areas as well as Savannah, Georgia, Milledgeville, Georgia. Services provided for the above mentioned projects included:
- Window cleaning using muti-story scaffolding
- Window cleaning using 100 ft booms & scissor lifts
- Stripping and waxing tens of thousands square feet of tile floors in hospitals and schools and hotels
- Scrub and remove any pencil marking left by architects, plumbers, and electricians
- Remove all manufactures labels and markings from windows, window ledges, door and interior glass partitions, plumbing pipes, stairs, rises, railing, vents, elevator cabs, counter tops, and all
- Cabinetry, steam clean carpeting, and scrub and seal all VCT tile hard floors as well as scrub and seal all grout, polish all marble, sandstone and ceramic tile hard floors, seal and clean
- All bamboo floors, restrooms, interior and exterior glass, stainless steel, and boiler rooms, windows and window frames rising 200 feet into open space, and escalators.
It was the expert job of SBM to clean all construction dust, dirt and grime off all ledges and surfaces. The hospitals that SBM completed were in such a fashion that the entire hospital was free of all dust, dirt and ready for patient occupancy. It was also our responsibility to machine scrub, floors and sterilizes all surfaces in the operating rooms making them immediately ready and OSHA approved for surgical procedures.

Before we place any employee or any skilled workers in your facility they are required to complete a lengthy application, drug testing performed by a facility of our choosing, police background checks as well as INS check.
